I try to wake up from this dream
But my eyes won’t open so it seems
So I light another cigarette
And I try to figure out why this could be
So I picked your things up from my floor
And I left your shoes outside the door
Then I rolled your body out from my bed
Cuz I don’t want to see you anymore
I left a message on your machine saying

So I rolled a number and burned it down

But I feel you sinking into my bed

I wrote with my finger on the bathroom mirror
But you wiped it clean and said please look here
Thank you much, but I already see quite clear
I left a message on your machine saying

Now I’m sitting underneath my window
